  • Jajangmyeon

Last Friday, after finishing the midterm, my friends and I decided to have JajangMyen ( Korean traditional noodle). The restaurant , located in the heart of Oakland, is found in a narrow street where all other Korean stores congregate . It is small in size and accommodates approximately  20 people. There were only 3 other customers in the place when we entered, but it was at an off time for meals, 2:30 pm on Friday afternoon.

The prices are very affordable since no entrĂ©e costs more than 6.99 dollars. I was so undecided to choose either JajangMun or  Bajirak but finally I had a combo and had chance to try both of them. JajangMun has a nice chewy texture . The noodle has a thick consistency topped with Korean black soybean source and ground meat.

It tastes lip-smacking delicious  but my suggestion is you should enjoy the dish when it is hot.
